{"id":4355,"date":"2021-10-22T15:12:44","date_gmt":"2021-10-22T15:12:44","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/applesandsnakes.org\/?post_type=project&#038;p=4355"},"modified":"2026-03-23T17:20:12","modified_gmt":"2026-03-23T17:20:12","slug":"ceces-speakeasy-call-and-response","status":"publish","type":"project","link":"https:\/\/applesandsnakes.org\/project\/ceces-speakeasy-call-and-response\/","title":{"rendered":"Cece&#8217;s Speakeasy: Call and Response"},"content":{"rendered":"<h1>Apples and Snakes invited emerging artists from across England to produce acts of creative resistance against climate and environmental injustice in response to Cece\u2019s Speakeasy.<\/h1>\n<p>The resulting films were released in the lead up to Cop26, <span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">the UN\u2019s climate conference heading to Glasgow from 31 October to 12 November 2021.\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">We invite truth-seekers, chocolate lovers and coffee drinkers and adventurers to be inspired to talk about issues around climate change through the stories of Coffee and Chocolate.\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n<h2>Live events<\/h2>\n<p>In July 2031\u2026 An event took place in a secret location in South East London.
