Storytelling workshop inspired by R.J. Palacio’s picture book ‘Wonder’<\/strong><\/h4>\n

Join\u00a0Cat & Hutch<\/a>\u00a0as they explore the world of “Wonder” by R.J. Palacio<\/p>\n

Wonder is all about a boy called Auggie Pullman. Auggie is just like every other boy… but you might not think so when you first see him. Auggie has a facial anomaly that means that even after 27 operations he will never look “normal”. That doesn’t stop him from playing his Xbox, obsessing over Star Wars or making some amazing friends who learn it’s definitely what’s on the inside that counts.<\/em><\/p>\n

In this workshop Cat and Hutch will use storytelling and drama techniques such as improvisation, character hot-seating and devising. They will also explore the physicality and voice of the characters as well as the themes within the book.<\/p>\n

This event is part of\u00a0<\/strong>SPINE Festival<\/strong><\/a> 2022. Venue: Hammersmith Library<\/strong><\/p>\n
