Spine Festival 2026<\/h2>\n\n\n\n

MAGIC & IMAGINATION: 16 May \u2013 30 June 2026<\/strong>. <\/h3>\n\n\n\n

Launching on 16 May, SPINE Festival 2026 continues the exploration of Magic & Imagination<\/strong> with children and families in fourteen London boroughs. This year features spoken word and arts activities delivered by local artists<\/strong>, touring poetry SPIN show<\/strong>, a series of engaging workshops and imaginative events by SPINE\u2019s 14 Artists in Residence.<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

This year will also see the festival\u2019s \u2018Magic & Imagination Poetry Competition\u2019<\/strong> judged by SPINE 2026 Ambassador Simon Mole<\/strong> in each partnering borough.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The full programme will be announced in May 2026.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The following boroughs will be participating this year:
Brent \u25cf Bromley \u25cf Greenwich \u25cf Hammersmith and Fulham \u25cf Harrow \u25cf  Camden \u25cf Kensington and Chelsea \u25cf Lewisham \u25cf Merton \u25cf Newham \u25cf Sutton \u25cf Tower Hamlets \u25cf Wandsworth \u25cf Westminster<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Each year, SPINE Festival also offers a host of activities specifically for local school and community groups.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Libraries are creative spaces at the heart of London communities. They are free and open to all, and a great way to engage with and experience art and culture.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

A huge part of this festival is all the libraries that take part. All the staff are incredibly important to making this festival come together and, of course, everyone who attends as a participant.
