He was crowned the National Poetry Slam Champion of Australia and co-founded The Pakistan Poetry Slam in 2015.<\/p>\n\n\n\n Zohab uses his knowledge as an educator and life coach to curate spaces that maximise growth, learning and overall wellness of all participants.<\/p>\n\n\n\n He has performed his poetry at some of the world’s premier writers’ festivals. As a 4th generation Australian of Pakistani heritage, Zohab has channeled his distinct life experiences into stories with the intent to educate.<\/p>\n\n\n\n Connect with Zohab Artform: Props<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n Ramona Eve is a Participatory P(r)op Artist and Scene Maker, her work reflects her fascination with people, puns, patterns, abstraction and surrealist symbolism. During lockdown, she became a \u2018holiday artist,\u2019 striving to build paradise wherever she is. <\/p>\n\n\n\n Ramona is also a creative youth worker and professional workshop facilitator. She has experience in designing and making large-scale installations in various settings. Join local artist Margaret Bateson-Hill for ‘In the Heart of the Forest’<\/strong>
When her stepmother sends Natasha alone into the forest to the house of BabaYaga the witch for a needle and thread, she only has only the advice of her mother\u2019s doll and the kindness of her heart to guide her keep her safe. Come and make a lolly stick doll to remind you that acts of kindness never go unnoticed with ward winning author Margaret Bateson-Hill.

Come and explore poetry and creativity through our Spine Festival\u2019s kindness themed workshops, run with Wembley Library\u2019s Artists in Residence, poet Zohab Zee Khan and participatory artist Ramona Eve. These interactive creative writing workshops will explore self-expression and build poetic skills. Children will contribute to Spine Festival\u2019s kindness archive and create a positive customised portrait of themselves by having a photo taken in the kindness photo booth. By the end of the workshop children will have made their very own illustrated mini poetry booklet to take home with them.

‘School of Rhyme’ with Paul Lyalls<\/strong>
Join us with poet, performer and writer Paul Lyalls for a special SPINE edition of \u2018School of Rhyme\u2019 during which children will be working with Paul to create and perform their own poems around the theme of kindness over the course of a fun packed 2 hours.
